The challenge
Present a varied assortment so visitors can move from an initial interest to a specific book or product. Categories, search, purchase information and service pages needed a clear structure while retaining the character of a bookshop.
From discovering the shop to placing an order
The experience follows a connected journey: discover BOOKVA, browse the catalogue, choose a product and place an order. Dedicated entry points help visitors find a book, explore offers or request a special order. The design combines a warm bookshop atmosphere with a functional shopping interface.
Project scope
- Website structure and catalogue navigation
- UX/UI and the store’s visual system
- Homepage, catalogue and product templates
- Search, basket and ordering journey
- Customer account and service pages
- Book-finding requests and enquiry touchpoints
- Responsive layouts for desktop and mobile
- Website build, configuration, checks and launch

The result
BOOKVA has a complete online store with a catalogue, search, product pages, basket and ordering journey. Customers can move from discovering a book to placing an order within one interface, with customer-account and service pages supporting that journey. I independently designed and developed the store, from its structure to launch.
